Best buys from Asos

“Fashions fade, style is eternal” – Yves Saint Laurent

With fast fashion becoming a large part of modern culture, I wanted to create a blog post on some Asos pieces which are stylish and will see you through many years. Here are some of my favourite picks.

Jumper dress – click here for link.

Dress – Asos. Belt – Asos. Boots – Kurt Geiger

A good jumper dress is hard to find but this Asos number may be the perfect one. Personally I don’t like my jumper dresses to be too long; by buying this in petite it’s a great length for me. Jumper dresses are so versatile, but this colour is especially easy to style either with a leather jacket and ankle boots or keep it casual with converse trainers. At £35 it is an excellent staple in your wardrobe.

PVC tan skirt here’s the link.

Skirt – Asos. Blouse – Zara

PVC for the past few years has been a big trend and has shown no sign of slowing down this year. If you are looking for something a little different to add to your evening outfit or work attire, this skirt is for you. Paired with a white blouse for daytime chic at the office or a white body for the evening. At £42 from River Island, also available on Asos, this is a great addition to your wardrobe and will liven up any outfit.

Tan bag with marble handles link here.

Bag – Asos. Jumper – Zara. Jeans – Topshop. Boots – Asos

Tan is always a great colour for autumn and winter and a great way to add tan into your wardrobe is with accessories. This tan bucket bag with marble handles is a good size to actually make it practical to use everyday. Paired with black boots or even tan boots if you dare to double tan! At £16.99 from Asos, it is a decent price for a well made high street bag.

Tan suede bootsclick here for the boots.

At £50 these boots are on the expensive side for the high street but they completely redeem themselves by being very comfortable and the perfect everyday heel height. At first tan can seem daunting to pair with items already in your wardrobe but they look great with staples colours such as black, cream and grey.
