The Topshop satin skirt trend had been dominating the autumn/winter trends and undoubtedly will continue into the hopefully milder whether of spring and summer! Even though many colours and patterns have been released getting hold of one was near impossible with each one selling out in a matter hours! Personally I have always found midi skirts difficult to wear mostly because I am 5’5″ and most midi skirts are designed for taller people so on me they end up being a strange in between length on me. Therefore this trend really passed me by but one day while having a mooch around Topshop, I spotted this amazing animal print one in my size! After trying it on I realised immediately what the hype was about; everything from the flattering fit to the body, to the length, was perfect. I also love how easy it is to pair with simple items everyone has in their wardrobe. A pair of black boots and ribbed jumper is all you need to make this outfit pop!
